Has anyone had a nurse/doctor tell them if it's OK to use a hot tub or sauna before FET. I am currently on progynova pills and buserelin spray and might be going for transfer in the next week. But I am going to a spa hotel this weekend and I am was hoping to use the pool and sauna. I've heard it's not a good idea if you've had transfer or are waiting egg collection but my eggs are on ice so is it safe?
Thanks.

I was ok for swimming etc before transfer which I did regularly, pool and sea. Go and enjoy this whilst you still can.....hopefully will be a while before you can hit the spa/sauna again!xx
I went to a spa and did saunas etc last weekend. Had my lining scan on Wed and all was perfectly fine. Think it’s nothing to worry about before transfer xx
I realise this is an old question but I trawled the internet to for what I could do on my anniversary before my FET. I had a response from my clinic today.
Q. Can I please double check on what I cannot do 2 days pre-transfer? Specifically can I go to a spa and can I have raw fish (e.g. sushi/oysters) or do I need to avoid these even before the embryo is transferred?
A. Avoid spa treatments such as hot saunas etc but everything else is okay.
Sushi etc fine prior to transfer but avoid afterwards.
Clinically it is hard to establish what you should and should not do ahead of transfer but we usually advise to treat yourself as though you are pregnant afterwards.
