Second day of injecting buserelin.

This is a bit embarrassing! I’m on my second day of taking buserelin injections. I seem to have a really funny tummy and diarrhoea. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms when taking this drug?

I am considering Buserelin an evil drug. I had lots of side effects like bloating, hot flashes, tiredness etc so not a surprise that you started to have some already. Hope you will stop there 😁. Good luck 🤞♥️

Yep! I’m on it at the moment and it gives me the same. Also about a week or so into using it, the hot flashes start (for me anyway)! X

Yeah I’m on my third day now and feeling awful. Do you have vertigo and dizziness? Also, do you find it hard to sleep? I was awake all night. Pretty full on these side effects. Just interested to know if you’re body adjusts to it or it gets worse? x

Yeah I had dizziness during the first week, but not since. Sleeping was also hard during the first week but now ok, except for waking up with hot flashes (covers on, covers off!). I think my body adjusts, I mainly just have hot flashes and diarrhoea now. All fun isn’t it! Not sure what medication you’re on next but it’s the Progynova that effects my mood swings, I’m two days into that now and can feel the irritability building lol xx

Thanks for sharing your side effects girls. Starting on my Buserelin injections for the first time tomorrow, so just buzzing around to know what to expect. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did you take them?

That is my first long protocol and I am to take it for 3 weeks before my baseline scan, and I just found it quite long time.
