Last Wednesday (27th Jan) I had a day 3 transfer of two embryos. My clinic has been tracking my progesterone every other day and I’ve been taking progesterone injections every evening. Today my results showed a drop in progesterone for the first time and I’ve been asked to also take cyclogest morning and evening. Should I be worried or is this variation in progesterone level normal during the 2WW?

My progesterone was up and down. It was 190 two days before transfer and only 29 the day after - that was taking the same medication. I kept testing progesterone until about 10 weeks just in case and it varied a lot. I was on injections and sometimes had to add or take away utrogestan depending on my progesterone results. It all worked out though because I am 30 weeks with twins.
Ah ok. How are you finding the injections every day? Are you really sore? I just had a mock cycle to see how I responded to 100mg Prontogest every other day plus 2 x cyclogest daily & when tested my progesterone level was only 33. My clinic said it’s fine but it’s low from what others have said on here. I suggested upping it to inject everyday & my clinic said it would be too harsh on the intermuscular injection sites & isn’t necessary so I don’t know what to do when it comes to my real cycle 😫
