Progynova no buserelin

Hi ladies,

I’m due to have a FET next week (hopefully) and this cycle I am only having progynova (started on day 1 of period) with no buserelin.

I feel like my ovaries are twinging a lot (especially the left one) and I’m worrying that my body is trying to ovulate! I have a scan on Thursday to check everything but I just wondered if anyone else had only progynova and felt the same? Did it suppress your ovulation?

Hi CatladyI'm the same. I've only had two attempts at FET (lining challenges so not successful yet). But both times have been on progynova only. It does supress ovulation

Progynova is supposed to suppress your ovaries, so no ovulation and that has worked really well for me on all of my FETs. There are of course a small number of people it doesn't work for but they will check your ovaries at scan so try not to worry. Good luck.xx

Im sure it will be fine. I had little crampy niggles whilst on progynova but all was ok! Im keeping well thank you.xx

Just an update, I had my scan yesterday and lining was 8mm plus no ovulation! Just waiting on blood tests today for progesterone result! So I’d gotten myself in a tiz unnecessarily 🙈😕 thanks for the advice above and to anyone else reading this try to relax!! Xx
