Hi so it's hard to write this but failed ivf cycle.
I did a home pregnancy clear blue digital on day 11 and came back negative 4 days before Christmas so I feared the worse and I was right.
I have a successfull 11 months old daughter from same clinic from 2019 1st go.
I am now 40 and in August I was diagnosed with the hypothyroidism which later on turned to be only hashimoto's.... Problém is here in UK the general gp doesn't know much about what treatment should woman have and I was overreacted which was only found out 6 days before the embryo transfer.... Ivf clinic abroad ordered me to stop taking levothyroxine immediately so I did but I have the feeling it was too late.... My t4 was 20 and stayed that way but my t3 kept creeping up... First it was 6.5 then after the transfer one day after the transfer I did the bloods in UK and it went up to 8.5 I pushed to be referred to the endocrinology department... All I got back was a phone call from the NHS endocrinology nurse to say take another blood test on the 11 th January... She just pressumed!!!!! That my levels are climbing up because I am pregnant.....no one has put me on any medication and not bothered to be concerned.. I got a negative blood test on the 29 th of December ( did it on the 24 th and had to wait in agony over Christmas...) and another reading for my t3 thyroid which was now 9.5!!!!
I am thinking of suing the NHS for negligence. I still had no one call me and arrange a treatment for me to sort my thyroid and I am still without correct medication.
They basically threw my money away by my hard work and we did wverethubg right only to yet again have NHS mess up everything....
Anyobe out there with thyroid levels all over the shop? What help did you have? Have you got any advevice or any contacts for specialist whom you can share with me?
Did anyone got pregnant naturally after failed ivf? Did you take ADHE or any other supplements?
So lost and angry.... I am just trying to see if there is anything I can do.....
Baby dust to all.
