I would get it checked out xx
I had lots of blood at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and my baby was fine. Def get it checked out but try and stay calm. Thinking of you xxx
I had an internal scan today and since I have had some light bleeding, the nurse said that it is normal to bleed slightly x
I had a huge bleed, soaked a couple of pads for about half a day. They think it was a hematoma (sp?!). Anyway it turned out ok as my 2 year old daughter is laying next to me. Do get it checked though.
I had a bleed that was like a small period at 8 weeks and my baby was fine. Sometimes it’s just the lining of the womb breaking down a bit. Get checked out to just put your mind at ease. That’s what I did and I felt miles better xxx ❤️
Like others have said, always get bleeding checked as I’m sure you will, but I had that exact type and amount of bleeding not long after my 6 week scan and had to have a scan at 7 weeks to check and everything was fine. never got an explanation, they just said it happens sometimes. Best of luck xx
When you did your 6 week scan was it a vaginal scan ? Was your 7 week scan on your abdomen ? I haven’t received a midwife yet or a nhs scan. I booked a private scan and I can’t keep paying 80 quid each time
Yeah it was a vaginal scan for both, I think they are still too small for an abdomen one at that point. Both were with my IVF clinic! But the 7 week one I had to pay for as it was “extra”, the 6 week one was routine so was included in the fees I’d already paid. Hope this helps xx
If you call the Early Pregnancy Unit they should give you an nhs scan to check all is well with any bleeding. Demand it xx
You can go to your local early pregnancy unit to get checked since you have had bleeding. Some hospitals don't require a doctor referral. They have drop in centres. X
They didn’t take notice so I booked a private scan I saw the heartbreak from the vaginal scan but the bleeding increased
Where are you based? UCL and Whittington in London both have walk in early pregnancy units. I am very surprised they won't see you if you're bleeding. Keeping everything crossed for you. X
Get bed rest until you can check with next scan.. hopefully you will be ok xx
It’s not normal but it is pretty common in the first trimester and doesn’t always mean anything bad (there are loads of reasons for early bleeding). Always get red blood checked out though. I would phone your clinic and let them know they will probably get you in for a repeat scan. Rest up until then, the chances are in your favour that’s it okay so try to stay as calm as you can 🤗 xx
My clinic didn’t give me scan I had to book a private one and I don’t have the money to keep booking private ones
I'm not saying its completely normal but it can happen! I also had a bit of ladi g every few weeks which completely freaks you out. You could try calling early pregnancy but its likely they'll say it's nothing to worry about if you arent filling a pad. Take it easy.xx
I had a big bleed at 5 weeks and was scanned by my clinic and all was good. They suspected it could have been a haematoma but after the scan I got more bleeding and spotting continued most days for another week and a half. I've done a lot of reading and it's not uncommon to bleed between weeks 5-8 especially after IVF and internal scans can irritate things but definitely speak to your clinic and get it checked. There isn't much they can do other than try to give you peace of mind. It's another excrutiating wait. Our local EPU were useless but our clinic have been much more understanding and reassuring. I have another scan on Monday so I'm hoping everything is progressing well. 🤞 I hope it settles down again for you. X
