Progesterone pessaries

I start Progesterone pessaries tomorrow and I have to take 1 in the morning a 2 in the evening.

Has anyone else had this dose?

I’m going to ring my clinic tomorrow to confirm but do you take the 2 at the same time

Hi lovely when I did ivf in the uk it normally was 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening you put 1 in push far up as you can then then the other 1 defo ring your clinic in the morning lovely to double check every one’s protocol is different my clinics in Cyprus and I have 6 aday now and a Lubion injection so it’s better check

Hi, I have never had 2 pessaries at the same time. I have 3 pessaries 400mg spread out throughout the day.

Thanks for replying! I’ve message my clinic to ask what I should do as I just says on my note 1 in the morning and 2 in the evening

Yes, at my clinic I have always done 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening (so 2 x 2 x 200mg / total 🟰 800mg / day).

Ok. Good to confirm but probably that’s the recommended dosage.

I'm also on two in the evening. My clinic advised for the evening ones to be done at the same time and to have one vaginally and one in the back passage.

I have spoken to my clinic and this is what they have advised

I take 3x a day but space them out. Btw I recommend wearing panty liners with them as your underwear can get quite messy x

I did notice this morning they can be quiet messy so I did buy some panty liners
