6dp5d FET and counting myself out 😫

We had a five day FET last Tuesday 10/11/2020 and it seemed to go ok. It’s our fourth transfer (one fresh double, one FET double, one FET single). Our very first was a chemical and the others non-starters. I did all the others back to back but we took a break of six months before starting this one. The cycles have all had transfer followed by oestrogen tablets three times a day and cyclogest pessaries twice a day.

Fist time and second I had no symptoms at all in the tww, third time I had AF cramps and that was it in the days before OTD and I knew it was over. This time I started with AF cramps last night and again tonight. My breasts are super sore, my chest is tight and I just have an awful feeling only the drugs are keeping my bleed at bay. I’m thinking of stopping the medication now and just working through this last failure. We cannot afford more IVF so it’s even more heartbreaking it’s failed.

I had lots of cramping and I am over 6 weeks now it can be good and bad so try think positive your not out I thought my period was going to start but obv it didn’t x

Hi there please don’t count yourself out so early. I had my transfer on the 5th of November. I had cramps on and off everyday, got sore boobs and peeing frequently. I had a couple of meltdowns following bad news about a family member living far away. I was sure it wasn’t going to work. 7.5DP5DT I had my first beta, came back at just 28. Repeated again 48 hours later and it doubled over at 56.5. I have my first scan at 5 weeks 2 days. It will be different for you but please don’t give up yet or stop medication till your beta at 10-14DP5DT.

You would stop your medications without taking a test???? That doesn’t sound like a good plan! I had a transfer same exact day and until yesterday felt nothing.... best of luck to both of us! 🌈

I was convinced I was out because I had such bad AF cramps for nearly a week before OTD. I got a BFP so you never can tell. Also had a big bleed a few days after BFP, I was sure that was it but the nurse begged me to keep taking the meds. They scanned me at 5 weeks 2 days and we were amazed that they found something there so I was glad I listened to the nurse and carried on with the meds. The 2WW is awful but don't give up, just in case. 🤞 Hopefully this is your time. X
