So we had our planning appointment today ahead of our next FET, going on my next bleed which is due this weekend!
All happened very quickly but I am having a scratch tomorrow (success stories please lovelies?), we are using glue, going for a double transfer, I’m going to take progesterone pessaries (as extra as doing a natural cycle so in theory don’t need it) and aspirin from OTD if positive result! Anyone taken aspirin during 2ww? I thought that was how you took it but they’ve said from a positive.
Felt like throwing everything at this one as it’s a double and probably out last transfer for a moment, although we have one left in freeze now that we are self funded we thought if this FET is unsuccessful we will go in for a full cycle and have testing on embryos etc prior to any more transfers!
🤞🏽🤞🏽 Sending hugs to everyone and lots of good lucks x

My sister went for a fresh transfer and it was unsuccessful. Her next trasnfer wasnt until almost a year after but she got the scratch done and then frozen transfer and it worked for her. My niece is beautiful and healthy at 2 weeks old now.
I had a failed fet this month and on my next attempt i have decided to get the scratch done at a private clinic and the self funded transfer via nhs. I hope it makes a difference as I've read good things about it.
Thank you for your reply! Such good news about your sister and little niece glad they’re doing well!
Good luck with your scratch and transfer. I’m going for it today! Have you been told it has to be on a specific day? I’m CD27 today due on in 3 days and they just said it had to be before my cycle starts x
I read on care fertility that the best time is cd 21 but i imagine just before your period due would do the job just fine. How did the scratch go? Did it hurt? Hope you're well x
Well my period very interestingly starting today! 2 days early, but for the scratch in so I’m glad about that! It was absolutely fine honey, she said can you feel that I said no and she laughed and said she’s doing it! I do think I have a pretty high pain threshold though. But it was so quick! Good luck with yours and your cycle xx
Good luck!!!! For my first successful pregnancy it was also on our third transfer (1st fresh failed, then FET failed). Third transfer FET I had a scratch prior and also transferred 2 embryos. We now have a lovely 3yo daughter. You’re doing all you can, everything crossed for you x x x
Thank you! Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 It went so well, I had a full consultation with my consultant who I hadn’t seen since she did my laparoscopy last year! So we had a good catch up and have planned for me to use progesterone support this time too, if we get a BFP then I’ll also try aspirin and even fragmin! She said she usually recommends that after 3 miscarriages but as we’ve had two and throwing everything at this go shes happy for me to try that too! So a lot going on! Glue and assisted hatching also standard so let’s just hope these embryos are good x
Best of luck! I didn't have a scratch but I did do a natural cycle and asked for progesterone second time around - and it worked. I am now almost 9 weeks. Always nice to know you're doing everything you possibly can if you ask me. xx
That’s amazing ! Thank you and congrats!! It went really well today, I think I may as well throw everything I can at this seeing as we’re using two and I have questioned the progesterone every time so now is definitely the time! X
