3rd DEIVF … success stories need some hope 🙏🏽

hello ladies ,

I’m sure I’m not alone with real struggles this time of year ! It’s a tough one when we are on this journey,

I just want it over so we can start preparing for our third fet !

Now geared up with ERA results I want to have more hope for our single embryo staying with me but tbh iv lost faith 😞 I’m already preparing for another fail .

This time it feels even more intense as it’s our last embryo out of 5 DEIVF … im often still in disbelief we are here one year after first double transfer & no closer to having a baby .

Anyone had 3rd time lucky success?

Sorry I can’t share a success story I had a failed DE IVF in October and wanted you to know you’re not alone. I have seen a couple of ladies on here successful on their 2nd and 3rd DE rounds. Good luck xx

Thank you, I surprisingly feel ok it was my third ivf fail but first DE round and but I have two in the freezer so quietly optimistic. So many people say it really is just a numbers game and luck. Are you doing any thing different with your ERA results ? I’m tempted to have ERA myself. Only difference for me for the FET will be heparin xx

it’s good you have some Frosties it does help for sure ..

out of our 5 top quality embryos 4 haven’t implanted so I’m not very hopeful with our last ! The clinic said it’s a numbers game but I’m not to cool with that at this stage 🫣..

So the ERA suggests I need 24 hours more progesterone so one more day added to protocol & nothing else changed atm but see how we go !

I really wish the ERA had been offered sooner ! So I would do it if you can xx

I know how you feel. It took me 4 donor transfers 1bfn 2 chemical and then a bfp. I honestly think it was pgd testing them and the era test that did it for us xxx good luck keep your chin up you’ve got this xxx

aww that’s such a shame that they won’t. Could u get it done somewhere else? Our clinic said we didn’t need it as it was double donor but we insisted and good thing we did coz on our first round 3 out of 4 were abnormal 🤦‍♀️ Xxx

our clinic & embryo is in Greece so I wouldn’t move it ! Purely because of the hassle & money … I’m just trusting the era results are going to be the magic we need 🙏🏽

Hi, we got 2x blastocysts from our first donor and transferred both. One stuck but miscarried. We did a fresh round and got 3x blastocysts. We transferred two and have twins now. That transfer was so difficult though. We wouldn't let ourselves believe it until really late in the pregnancy after all the disappointment. Be kind to yourself. Xx

Hi Ladycoco,

I’m a 3rd time lucky mamma!! I had 2 failed single embryo transfers and then success with my third (double) embryo transfer. We opted for double as we were feeling so done by then that we planned it to be our last round and wanted to give ourselves the best chance. We were planning on taking a break then and was exploring adoption. But we were super lucky and both stuck!

I also thought that it hadn’t worked, I had lots of pre period symptoms and spotting the day before I was due on. 2 days before test day I called my mum to tell her that I was sure it hadn’t worked and was planning our next steps when I randomly decided to do a test and it was positive! So my advice is don’t count yourself out yet!

Iv done 2 double deivf transfers so a little sad this time only one will be transferred… but maybe it’s my lucky one xx🥹🙏🏽
