Just had my FET and have been instructed to take 400mg progesterone pessaries daily and 25mg Prolutex injection for 7 days. After 7 days, it's 1200mg pessaries a day only. Anyone with higher or lower dose with success?

Hi
My clinis advised me to take 2×400 pissaries but after transfer I added myself to 3 a day and alhamdullah it works.. After positive test I told my Dr that I took 3 a day so she further advised to continue 3 a day.. Good luck for your success. But it was was my 4th fet that's why I wanted to do something change
Wow thats a lot of progesterone. I take 2 x 400mg daily and I am told that 'far exceeds what someone would naturally have' Good luck! x
Thanks for the reply. Feel a little more reassured xxx
I was told to have my progesterone levels checked after 3 days on 2x400 pessaries to ensure that my body is absorbing the progesterone like it's intended to as many women don't absorb it / it doesn't raise the levels as it should. To say that 2x400 is the maximum for every woman is a fallacy and healthcare professionals should know better than that.
Sorry that my post offended you
Your post didn't offend me! I'm frustrated with the healthcare system's constant lumping into categories and not providing the simple support that we all need. It's not difficult nor is it expensive to give a blood test for women *after* they're taking progesterone to ensure that we receive the correct dosage. I shouldn't have had to pay £1,000 to a private clinic to tell me this. After all, it's cheaper to give us another blood test for progesterone with meds than it is to go through a miscarriage, not to mention the emotional toll it plays on us all.
