Period after failed IVF

I was wondering if people had heavier periods after taking progesterone pessaries and gel?

My periods are only 1/1.5 days and I expected a heavier period due to progesterone pessaries building my lining up but nope, it’s been 1 day long.

Any thoughts on this? Could I not have been taking enough progesterone?

Hey… My periods are naturally light, after progesterone pessaries it was still fairly light! My lining was 10.5 so they expected a fairly heavy bleed but didn’t happen! X

Oh this does make me feel a bit better I have to admit lol!

Did they say that your dosage of progesterone was fine and didn’t want to up it or anything?

They didn’t mention my lining much to me but during scans they said it was fine, so assuming it was alright ha!

I started spotting 6dpt so now for my FET I’ll be on 3x progesterone pessaries instead of 2 xx

After failed FET it took about 11 days to get my period and it was quite light. I was on loads of progesterone (they upped my dose post transfer). I've also just done a mock cycle (to do ERA/Alice/Emma) with a new progesterone protocol and ended up having a super heavy period 4 days after I stopped the progesterone. The clinic told me both are normal and not to worry.
