I had my egg transfer on Friday 21/1 and I have been put on 2 cyclogen pessaries, Lubion injection and 4 estradil valerate (think that’s how you spell it) tablets each day.
I am so bloated and I have like a constant stomach ache that never seems to go so could this be too much progesterone or will it calm down in the next few days?
I had a miscarriage last year from a FET and they have increased all medication post transfer and I don’t remember it being this bad last time.
Thanks for any help x

I’m on the same except 3 tablets. I’m not at transfer yet but have noticed bloated, feeling sick and headache. So I think it’s normal. You could also have early implantation symptoms possibly. I’ve got clexane to add to the mix after transfer as well - yay 😀 best of luck xx
Thank you for the reply. Aww ok, I’m glad you’re on the same and feeling the same. I was on 3 pre transfer and then they changed it to 4 after. Good luck to you 🍀 x
I'm in my 2 we but on different meds, cyclogest and progynova. I feel / look bloated, sick at times, tired and fed up. It's my second FET plus one fresh and that's what it seems to be for me every time...
I was really unwell on the progynova/oestrogen (nausea, headaches, dizzy, room spins...) and they had to reduce it right down before the FET. That helped but I didn't feel too great even on one oestrogen tablet so maybe it could/also be the oestrogen that's giving you symptoms. Having said that, although I'm usually ok with progesterone, on the FET and for all the time after I had headaches, dizziness and the worst bloating ever, plus a bad stomach which is pretty unusual for me - maybe because I was on quite a lot (two pessaries and two lubions a day). Those symptoms didn't really improve until I tapered off but I'm convinced more/different progesterone made the difference after two early losses so it wasn't fun but absolutely worth it. Sometimes your body can get used to the meds too if it is those that are causing problems, so fingers crossed.
Heya, I’m on the same as you apart from only 3 tablets. I had my transfer on Thursday. Im really not enjoying the Lubion injections. They have caused bloating, swelling and bruising! They are much worse than any I had to do for the fresh round. I’m feeling so so sleepy from all the meds too, am finding it difficult to get through the day without needing a nap! Have felt like this since I started on the progesterone. I’ve read that’s it good to rub gently where the Lubion has been injected to help it disperse a bit better. I’mfinding that I’m in pain all day from where I’ve injected so going to give that a go today. I hope your bloating and stomach ache feels better soon and sending lots of positive vibes your way xx
Yeah I think that’s what it might be too. I will definitely try that as my stomach is becoming very sensitive from the injections. Thank you, I wish you all the luck in the world 🍀 xx
