So today is my first day progesterone pessary free. Whilst I fully appreciate that those waxy little fellas have helped keep my baby stay put, I am so glad that I've not got to wake up extra early to pop them in before work.
My b.f did completely freak out at the start after not noticing some of the residue of the pessary in the toilet and thought he'd started peeing white stuff 🤦♀️. Anyone else's fellas got confused too?
For anyone about to start using these, my top tip of advice is always wear sanitary towels, if not you will ruin your pants. Ive not named them fanny melts for nothing 😉😂😂😂 xx

I love the rename, I think they should change it to Fanny melts. I told my husband this morning and he found it hilarious. I hate them as well 🤭 congratulations on BFP 🥳
This post is hilarious! Thank you 🤗 I’m so excited for a week on Friday to be free from these as I hit the 12 weeks point 🤣😂 I’m literally counting down the days!! Xx
Nice name Fanny melt 😁. Can I ask did you guys stop on the day u clocked 12weeks or the end of 12weeks?
I really can’t wait to stop mine , my stomach is sore from injecting since the end of June(from down reg) till now. The pessaries gives too much bloating, I can’t wait to feel normal again😭 .
I was only prescribed enough to take me to 10 weeks, they told me I could stop at 9 weeks but I chose to just continue with them till they were gone, which the clinic said was fine. I've seen different clinics give different timescales to women 🤷🏼♀️xx
As much as I don’t like them, I feel scared to stop. I Officially turn 12 week today although measured 12 weeks 1 day on Friday. Since Saturday I have reduce from 2 a day to 1 a day which I put in at night and fall asleep with it. I will continue to do this this week, I’m just scared to stop now!! Xx
I've been told to gradually take my self of these. I am 7 weeks today and was told to take it down to 1 a day from 7 weeks and and then every other day until I've used all what I have.
Me too! My last pessary was Friday evening and I was ECSTATIC🤣🤣🤣 grateful like you because they are much needed but 3 times a day... for 13 weeks 🙈 glad to be rid! X
