Prep for FET help please

Hi ladies

Slowly but surely coming out of the other side of my MMC 😥 The best thing for me is to have a plan, we have a consultation in a months time to discuss next steps, which will be FET.

After 3 fresh cycles, I've never actually done a FET. So I'm doing my normal researching into everything 😂

Looking on here you've all suggested, pomegranate juice, beetroot juice, raspberry leaf tea, nuts, hot water bottle, fluffy socks, yoga, vitamin e and l'arginine to help with lining.

How much in advance did you do these? When you start on the meds? With regards to vit e and l'arginine what dosage do you recommend and when do I take those?

Thank you xx

Hi - just to note that I think the recommendation is to avoid hot baths and hot water bottles as this isn't favourable to implantation. Waiting for my FET and all the best with yours 💖

Just to let you know, I didn’t do any of those things. I cut down caffeine, stopped alcohol, and took pregnancare. Nothing else.

I’ve got a FET 5 year old and FET Baby 2 is coming out by c-section on Tuesday! (And I am 45.)

I understand totally the need for a plan and to feel in control, but don’t let it consume you. Success is usually down to the chromosomal quality of the embryo and/or womb lining, and very little you can do to influence either of those I’m afraid.

FET is much easier in terms of medication. What I had found that when I had cut back on excersize my linning grew thicker but whilst I was exercising in a previous cycle the lining didnt increase much. I also started drinking full fat milk too. Good luck with your FET cycle xx

I am in a similar situation 😊 never had FET done before. I had 2 fresh transfers in the past and both ended up in biochemical pregnancys. Last month I did ERA test so I had a mock cycle. This helped me understand how the process looks like when you are preparing for FET. My clinic prescribed 6mg of progynova but apparently wasn't enough so after 2 weeks I still had a very thin lining 5.9 when I should have had min 7mm. Now they asked me to start straightaway with 8mg a day. I think all these are more important than anything.

Don't stress much with all the vitamins. I would suggest a good intake of veg, fruits and whole milk is all we need.

We are transferring a PGS tested embryo + ERA test done. I have all the hopes in the world that this time will work 😂😁

Best of luck 🤞♥️
