After a year of getting ready for FET we are booked for Thursday and I'm now worrying about the embryo's thawing ok. We have 2 on ice and then that's it. I got my lining up to 7.3mm and looks lovely so the Dr said and triple layer.
I know I can't do anything about them thawing but it's on my mind as we've had 3 fresh round with no implantation and I just get devastated each time.
Can anyone give any positive stories with lining under 8mm or 1st frozen try?
Also, anything I should start/stop vitamin wise - i've fallen off the drinking pom juice and eating pineapple as didn't help with my other transfers and seemed to stress me even more having to remember to have them.
Thank you all x

I had look at your posts and you mentioned NK cells that you had tested..was this at your clinic..mine doesn't do it and it's on my mind (I know too late now) but can you take the medication without testing do you know ?x
I had mine tested at my clinic (after I pushed for this) but when I had that FET they were still under covid restrictions and I had to go to a different clinic who work specifically with immune issues - for the intralipids - I was lucky because my private GP was able to prescribe steroids as she knew my history and was happy to help.
I don't think an NHS GP would prescribe you steroids without having tested first unfortunately - you'd also need a liver function test to check that your liver can process them properly as they can be a bit detrimental.
I would say see how this one goes and if it's not the outcome you want, then go for the blood tests.
Thank you, i've had liver tested as had some full bloods done before our FET was started. This is our last one as only have 2 frozen left and had our 3 fresh rounds. I am on extra progesterone this time so hopefully that will help.
You could always talk to your consultant about it - I do know of some people who were given the steroids without an immunity test because they'd tried everything else - I just know it's not common - worth a shot!
The drugs are super cheap so they might be willing...
Hey, I'm in a similar position, same age and going to use only 2 I have frozen next month. Petrified 😨 to use them. I do have a daughter from my only ever frozen, so hoping frozen is better than fresh for some people. So many fresh haven't worked for me.
Wishing you the best of luck 🤞🙏. Trilaminar is great!
The stats are great now to or defrosting ok. Were you recommended to to transfer 2?
Wishing you all the best too and thank you. We can transfer 2 but have opted for 1. Husband said put both in but i wanted to try just the 1..my thinking was another chance if this doesn't work/defrost?!?
Hey, I had my first FET in May. We only had one frozen embryo and I was so worried that it wouldn't survive the thaw. I asked a nurse and she said it's very rare for embryos not to thaw properly. I can't remember how thick my lining was though. But I'm 21 weeks pregnant now. First ever pregnancy after 5 years of trying and 2 IVF cycles. I didn't do anything special. I tried beetroot juice but that lasted just a few days because I couldn't stomach the taste! Just no alcohol and eating fairly healthily. I wish you all the luck in the world!
Aww that's great, congratulations. Same here never been pregnant in our 8 or 9 years of trying and 3 cycles. Yeah, i don't mind beetroots but the juice is awful. Am keeping to that also. Thank you and all the best x
My second transfer worked with a uterine lining of <8, I think mine was the same as yours. I didn't drink any fancy juices. Thawing success rates are really good, the odds of your little frosties making it out the freezer are really positive xxx
thank you for this. Congrats on the 2nd transfer. I wasn't really thinking of the thawing until now..trying to keep calm and take one step at a time. Also, i feel i'm having period symptoms..my period would be due so am thinking is it just holding off due to the meds? xx
No success here but my clinic says that the 8mm limit is outdated. According to them, more recent studies show that you need over 7mm AND triple line appearance. Good luck!
Don’t have any advice regarding lining under 8. But we just had our first FET today! And I was really nervous about our blastocyst not thawing, we only had one in the freezer.. so here is to hoping for this little one!! It thawed beautifully and all was well!! They told us about its development and I just cried! 🥹🧡 I just wanted to wish you all the best!! And I will have everything crossed for you! 🧡 Hope the transfer goes well tomorrow!
Thank you..its hard waiting for them to call.. so pleased yours thawed well. Must have been so nerve racking also xx all the best wishes for you..sending positive thoughts xx
Just had to reply back as you commented on my other post lol..so our frostie did also thaw well and I cried too as they told me it was doing well and hatching..I saw this as a good sign x
Hi I have just found your post when searching for FET info. Please may I ask what cycle day you were on when you had the 7.3 lining and when will you be going ahead with your FET. Are you are estrogen and adding in progesterone?
I've had a scan today and in very similar position to you but having another scan Monday, as I know my clinic don't do transfers on a weekend the earliest for a 5day transfer would be the following Monday. Feels like forever away
hello, i'm not sure as i had down reg medication, i think it was late in the cycle tho as I had another 3 days on the medication to check lining before we went ahead. We had the transfer last Thursday, it's the same for me we don't have transfers on a Sunday so has to be timed for when it can happen and have scans.
Yes, on estrogen and progesterone was added before the transfer.
