Hi all...
I’m starting my second round of IVF and I’m having the “additional’s” this time round.
Have many of you had the scratch and glue? And what are your thoughts on these making a difference?
Luck to you all 💕

Hi, good luck stating your new cycle 🤞🏻 such an exciting time 🙂
I don't have any information to add but would be interested in hearing the answers to this too as I'm.stsrtinv my third cycle soon and was looking at doing these xx
There was a big study done at Sheffield Hospital with lots of places taking part and they showed that a scratch doesnt improve the birth rate so not sure that is worth it!! All the best.xx
Iv had a scratch 4 times and all my cycles have been with glue my first and only bfp was with a scratch Iv gone on to have 3 failed cycles with scratch’s but there where other factors who knows if the scratch made a difference but I will continue to keep having them 🤞xx
I had it done and was a complete waste of money as my cycle was then cancelled due to poor response. Since then, I’ve done lots of reading on it and the evidence is inconclusive at best. As a scientist, I wish I’d read the science first. I don’t want to scare you but the pain was unbearable, I passed out in recovery due to the pain. They think they might have hit a nerve during the procedure. Ask them to explain the risks to you. My advise would be do your own research, ask lots of questions and make an informed decision. Good luck Xx

Hello! I had the scratch and the assisted hatching (not sure what the glue is). I fell pregnant this time round so I think it must have helped as well as PGS. Best of luck xxxx
