Hi all,

Quick question- how long after your endometrial scratch did you get your period please? Did it make your cycle longer /shorter?

Thanks all

I had 3 done a few years ago and it made my period come a few days early.xx

Only a few days? Interesting. After the ERA my period came 3 days after (so v v early) but wondered if the drugs played a part in that. Trying to work out xmas dates and cycle dates - very annoying! x

I presume you stopped your progesterone after the scratch? If so this would bring a bleed on from the withdrawal.xx

Yes exactly. Was quite surprised it came on so quickly. Previously after failed transfers and I've stopped progesterone, this has not happened. x

Its can vary to be fair....I think after I stop progesterone it has been anything between 3 to 5 days but it would be the withdrawal of progesterone rather than the ERA as when I had mine I kept my progesterone going as we wanted to plan my next bleed for our next cycle.xx

Understood, thanks lovely. I think my period in Dec is literally going to fall in the xmas dates which is so annoying as they won't do baseline scans during this time (obviously as they are shut!) x

I think it can bring your period on a bit quicker as it upsets the uterus xx

Yes just trying to work out xmas dates / cycle dates which is proving to be a bit complicated and trying to work around an unknown cycle length 😆x
