Fuild in the uterus

Hi all, just joined so I'm new on here. Just going through my first round of FET had my 10 day scan after being on progynova lining not yet thick enough but she also said there is fuild in my uterus!!!!! She said they will take a look on Thursday I'm now super worried that it will mean I wont be able to continue the round. Anyone else had this? Am I over thinking it!!! Xx

No mine was on a fresh cycle I was on norethisterone I was really worried about when they told me but had a scan a few days later and it had gone 🤷‍♀️ I do know that if it doesn’t go they can’t transfer because the embryo won’t implant in fluid today if I remember rightly it can be hormones that cause the fluid.xxx

I was the same. My first scan showed fluid in the lining and it went away. They said to me it was caused by introducing such a high dose of hormones all at once (when I went onto meds for FET). Try not to worry. It does happen a lot.xx

I always get this and it’s just a result of high estrogen levels. Once I started progesterone suppositories either after egg collection/ovulation it dried up quickly within a couple of days and before transfer

Thank you for replying! I was in tears when they told me...totally freaked me out. 2 had 2 ectopic pregnancies last year and lost both tubes so had a egg collection done in oct and now finally got the strength to give the FET a go...and thought this would mean all was lost. Next scan is Thursday xx

I lost both tubes to ectopics too and now am 12 weeks with twins so stay strong x

I had fluid on the day of transfer mine was FET, they just sucked the fluid out and carried on they said it can be some medication. I’ve also heard as some other people say it goes on it’s own. Try not to worry too much xx

Hi I had this and my FET was cancelled as the consultant said that it would be unlikely that the embryo would stick. However, in the next round of FET I was given an injection before my cycle which did help. My FET did result in a successful pregnancy but ended up in a MC x

That's good to know!! I'm on 12 mg of progynova a day to get lining right git everything crossed for Thursday xx

Hi all, had scan yesterday lining is now where it needs to be. Fuild was still there but started progesterone this morning. Got another scan Tuesday and also they will try to suck the fuild out if still there got everything crossed it does just go. Got FET booked for Wednesday if everything else goes to plan xxx
