Bleeding After Prostap?! 2nd FET

Hello Ladies,

Hoping someone out there may be able to offer some advice?!

I had my Prostap injection to start treatment on the 17th of July... Had subsequent bleed as expected which I thought had “finished” with down regulation scan planned for tomorrow. However, today there has been (sorry for TMI) some new minor bleeding. Nothing major but been a week since started bleed and thought this was done dusted! Has anyone experienced similar?! Or am I stressing over nothing 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️💞💞

Thanks so much in advance if anyone had had any similar or advice! Xxx

Mention it to your nurse but my period seemed to last nearly twice as long after each pratap . It stopped once I started stims injections. It was normal for me. Hope that helps 😘💐

Ahhh ok thank you! 😘 It is odd as this is my second FET and the first Prostap I had it all seemed fairly “normal” 🤷🏻‍♀️ ... But then I had MMC so I’m not sure if my body is just responding differently this time... Xxxx

Awh bless ya. Defo check with your clinic for added reassurance. 💐

It was my husband who reminded me it was normal for me . Quote ‘ I remember you complaining about that the last time, sure it was the same’ 🤪😂😂😂😂

I had exactly the same thing with my prostap injection and the nurse told me it was very normal. I was spotting right up to my down reg scan day and didn’t stop till I started stims. Xx

Oh phew, that’s making me feel a bit better! 😅 Just hoping now Scan is all fine tomorrow and I needn’t worry lol!

I don’t know if going through the process before is better or worse as all I seem to be doing is comparing everything to last time! 🙈

Thanks so much for the reply and hope your journey is going well (whenever you may be at) ☺️ xxxz

I was stressing exactly the same. It was my first round so nothing to compare to, I think either way we manage to find something to stress about 😆

Thank you, I’m half way through my 2ww and going a little crazy 🙈

I hope your scan goes well. Everything crossed for you x

I had prostrap today and nurse told me it can do all sorts to your period and even though I was fine last time i could react differently this time x

Ahh thank you for your reply! Glad to hear this can be a side effect - I’ll be relieved when 1pm tomorrow arrives and hopefully all is fine 🙏 Xx
