Hi ladies, I never thought we would get here, but we have just got back home and I've got a top grade expanded blastocyst inside me 😱

This is my 3rd fresh cycle, and had 2 very disappointing cycles, 1st cycle no transfer at all and 2nd cycle 2 average 3day embryos transferred and BFN.

We swapped to a new clinic, paying privately now, and my husband had a fresh surgical sperm retrieval on the same day as my egg collection, and the difference was fantastic. Goes to show how the supplements and diet have really improved things for him. We also had AOA to help fertilisation.

I also did my first ever long protocol, and although ive hated it I had 22 eggs collected. 9 fertilised, 1 transferred and 2 other blastocysts frozen. Cant believe how the numbers dropped off but we are so incredibly grateful to be in this position, to have actually got to day 5 ...and then to be able to freeze a couple os just a miracle in our eyes!

Now for the dreaded 2ww, I'm so scared for our test date, I am dreading it!! But for now I want to be happy that I'm PUPO and hope for the very best.

So far so good thanks hun. We’ve had the NIPT already & that’s come back ok this time thankfully. Have our 12 week scan on Wednesday (will be 12+4), so nervously awaiting that.

Have been staying away from here as anxiety is still +++ & seeing posts about miscarriages etc was not helping my mental health! 😂🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ But I saw your post and had to comment! So happy for you! Xxx
