Transfer done - one lovely blastocyst on board 😊

Morning all,

Had first transfer this morning from our fresh cycle - saw our lovely day 5 blastocyst on the screen and they said everything looked good. Test day on the 30th so only a week and 4 days to get through 😕

A bit disappointed because there is a possibility none of ouother embryos will be good enough to freeze - they will look at them again tomorrow and decide. So this whole cycle might be pinned on the one transferred. Trying to be pragmatic though, stims and ec weren't as bad as I was expecting so if we have to do it all again it's not the end of the world, we're really lucky to have some savings and a very supportive family so financially it's achievable.

Everything crossed this one sticks 🤞

Goood i think 😁 I had mt day 10 scan yesterday and i have 7 follicles on the left ovary and 9 on the right one. Lining is 9.5. Tge nurse was a bit concern s some of the right follicles shrank a bit but my hormone levels are fine and they've increased my ovaleap a bit. Sooo hoping for a date for EC after my scan on Monday 😊😊😊xxxx

That sounds really good, we'll done! Try not to worry about having a few that got smaller - I had that too, they said you'll always get some that don't keep going. Best if luck for Monday, will have my fingers crossed for you x

Best of luck, I hope your 2ww goes by quickly! Xx and hey you never know...I got a big shock on my last cycle when they called me day 6 to say I had 2 embryos to freeze was shocked as i had more embryos my first round but none to freeze. Hope you get some good news tomorrow...could be a sibling 😉😉🤞🤞xxx

Great news! My day today was pretty similar. Had the transfer and they said they’d call tomorrow about freezing any but there is a chance none others will make it. I hope you hear good news! We’re also testing on the 30th so will keep my fingers crossed for you as well 🤞 xxx

Hey, glad your transfer went OK too! How strange that we're in such similar positions - see what tomorrow brings. I hope the time passes quickly for you to the 30th, I'm going to make some plans this evening to keep busy outside work. Thinking cinema trips, out for dinner, and a few gentle exercise sessions to keep me occupied. At least its not a full 2 weeks!
