Firstly, I just want to say that I’m so sorry for all who are having their cycles cancelled or postponed atm. I write this feeling extremely relieved & very thankful that our transfer has gone ahead, but also a little guilty that I am one of the lucky ones who has managed to get to transfer amidst this CV situation when so many others have been unable to continue 😔
However, we transferred one of our two frozen blasts this afternoon and all went very well according to the clinic 🙏🙏🙏 (I tried really hard to get them to put both back but the consultant flat out refused!) 🙄😝🤦🏽♀️
And so the dreaded 2ww begins. So pleased to be joining all you other wonderful ladies who are already on yours! I can’t decide if this self isolation is a good or bad thing for these 2 weeks?!? What do you all reckon?!
Good luck to everyone, wherever you are in your cycle and again, so so sorry for those that have had theirs cancelled 😔

Great news!! 😊 Wishing you all the best for your 2ww!! I'm staying at home for 2 weeks, going to get the shopping done delivered / pick up so I don't have to go inside. I wasn't paranoid at all, but it crept up on me! 😅 I believe there isn't any evidence that it affects pregnancy, but it's a precious time and I can't help but feel worried!! I'm also feeling pretty tired and lousy so it's a good excuse I say! 😂 xxxx
Thank you hun! Yeah, I’ve heard it doesn’t affect pregnancy as well, which is good! Ha ha! You’re right - it’s a great excuse! 😂😂 AND, I now have two legitimate excuses why I ‘can’t’ go to the gym! Result 😝 xxxx
Congratulations on transfer!!! I was pretty much going to sit around and watch a lot of TV etc. in these two weeks anyway so it doesn't make much difference! Apart from specifically not going out anywhere and enjoying myself! Oh, and having to video call my family instead of actually seeing them! Best of luck for your 2ww. Why did they refuse to put two back? xxxx
Thanks Emmie! He said it’s because the risk of miscarriage is higher and because I’ve already had 3 if one miscarried and I bled it would probably bring the other one with it even if the other one was healthy. I told him none of my MCs have happened spontaneously but he said that because I’m high risk it didn’t matter, he wouldn’t risk putting two back. When he put it like that I couldn’t really argue tbf 🤷♀️💕 Xxxx
Aww so glad to hear you've had your transfer are are now PUPO!! 💗
Thats wonderful news, I think it's a good thing for self isolation these next 2 weeks it will keep you more assured you're in the safest place possible for you and your embie! Lots of luck xxx
Thank you lovely! Yeah, you’re right! And tbh, being away from the office - we’ve been told to work from home for the next 14 days - is no bad thing (it’s very stressful there!)
Thinking of you though and keeping everything crossed you get the green light for Sunday 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻 Xxx
Ah so pleased for you - I think a great thing that you can relax and hide away with your little embaby on board, watch Netflix get lots of books mags, jigsaws and take time for you xx
Congratulations, I’m in my 2week wait too. However Iv been feeling pretty crap. Iv had migraines since transfer and now Iv developed thrush which I believe is from the pessaries😩 any advice to help manage would be appreciated xx
Oh no! Poor you 😔 Sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish 😟
Re. The migraines - are you drinking plenty of water? I aim (rarely achieve though 😂) for 3 litres a day. It’s very important to keep well hydrated.
Re. The thrush - could you maybe try the pessaries in the ‘other place?’ I’m not a fan of this myself, but I believe it works for some people and would probably stop the thrush
I hope you feel better soon. How many days into it are you? Xx
