Aspirin

Hello I’ve recently had a positive test from 2nd round icsi, my midwife has prescribed me dispensable aspirin as preeclampsia runs in the family, I accidentally took an extra aspirin this morning instead of my anti sickness tablet so where I normally take 2x aspirin a day one in the morning one in the eve I have now taken two in the morning? Will it be ok? Would it affect the baby? Thanks in advance xxx

Im sure one extra aspirin in the morning wont pose any risks, try not to to worry....just dont take your dose tonight.xx

I don’t have a midwife because if covid, even though I’m 11wks xxx

Hi. One 75mgs tablet twice a day was what you were originally prescribed, so I would go with that. If you can’t get in touch with a midwife for a while and you’re worried, then speak to your GP. Hope all continues as it should. Diane

Hi, have you taken 2x 75mg tablets so 150mg in total?

If do my midwife has told me that the new recommended dose is actually 150mg but literature hasn't yet been changed. I was recommended to take 150 a day.

Obviously that's only what I've been told so prob best to check with yours if your concerned.
