Ectopic or could it be a miracle??

Hi Everyone. Well I though cycle number four was over as I was advised it was a chemical after an hcg of 7 on 11dp3dt and hcg of 11 on 13dp3dt. I’d come to terms with this (although devastated) over Easter and got my period. The clinic told me to go back today for one final blood test to check it was back to zero but it’s now hcg at 45 (at 18dp3dt).

Previously we’ve only had a FET successful but resulted in missed miscarriage. Then two procedures to fully remove which absolutely broke me.

The clinic have said to have another blood test and a scan in 48 hours but other than an ectopic I don’t know what else it could be. I’m still holding on to a tiny bit of hope that as the egg transfer was the last day before lock down it’s a miracle and still holding on! I suppose just wondering if anyone has had similar results and it ended up well?! Or did those with ectopics have similar results?

I ve not had such similar result and don't want to give you wrong information. My prayer for you is that you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. God will do it for you. Your miracle is on the way. Hugs.

I know this is an old thread and I hope you are doing well. I’m experiencing the same thing you did - even very close to the numbers. I’m not sure what to make of it. What happened to you? Was it ectopic? How are you feeling? I hope you have a support system around you.

Hi River, unfortunately no miracle but didn’t turn out to be ectopic. My numbers kept near doubling until 10,000, and a sac appeared even though it was late and just grew slowly. So it took quite a long time for the doctors to confirm a missed misscarriage. I did have a d&c procedure about 5 weeks ago and my numbers finally back to about 100 so hopefully back to zero soon and try another cycle! Sending lots of a positive thoughts to you. Miracles do happen!
