Hi everyone. I am from NZ and following this page for few weeks. I would appreciate if someone can help me.
A brief history before getting to my questions. I have stage 4 endometriosis. I had lap. in November removing my tubes and they tried to clear the cycts with minimum damage to my ovarian. FSH 19, AMH 3.1. My plan was to go for IVF by the end of April (now it depends on COVID 19...). I started to take Ubiquinol 100mg, 2 pills 3 times a day(600mg a day), 3x Omega 3, a Royal jell capsule and 2x Metagenica pregnancy care advanced per day. During taking Ubiquinol l had to drink lots of water as l could get a bad headache. Finally I could ordered Ubiquinol 300mg online and replaced the 100 mg ones with 2 pills of 300mg.
When l took two pills at a time, l experienced sharp constant pain in my left ovarian. Then l changed to take one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon. The sharp pain reduces but still have some. Now l am experiencing like yeast infection. I am so confused. I like to continue taking Ubiquinol as l heard it helps with improving my ovarian reserve and the egg quality. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I stop taking Ubiquinol? Or should I get back to take 6 *100mgs? I couldn't find any side effect like yeast or ovarian pain for Ubiquinol online. Please advise.

Hi, I have been taking ubiquinol for a long period of time. I take 1 x 200mg capsule once a day. I have done extensive research on the dosage and I believe your dose is far too high. If you have it in your system for say 3 months there is no need for more than 200mg a day.
I was at first confused with the dosage as my DR will not support my use of it and believes doesn’t make any difference. I have read of women taking 600mg per day and was worried I wasn’t taking enough .
I contacted various medical professionals for advice who told me one dose of 200mg is sufficient. When I mentioned 600mg the advise was that is absolutely far too much. At time I was taking 2x 200mg but have reduced it to 1x200mg.
I know it’s so hard with all the conflicting advise but please cut down on your dosage and am sure you will fell instantly better 🤞🏼😀 x
Hi Mta. My thoughts are, that you might be taking too much in the way of vitamins and should reduce your intake, as overdosing can cause yeast type infections and joint pains. Have a word with your clinic and see what dose they recommend. Ask about some treatment for the yeast infection too, as you can do without that as well. Hope all settles down and you soon feel better. Keep safe. Diane
