Has anyone else is on Buserelin during downregulation?

Hi lovely ladies, hope you are all doing well. So I have my last Norethisterone on the 16th I’ve been told to expect my period 3 to 7 days after, I’m very anxious as this round we are doing Buserelin injections and I have awful side effects also I’m worried it has postponed my period... I know I still have two more days but can’t help myself and I’m worried....

Has anyone else is on Buserelin during downregulation?

I do hope to get my period soon and get the injections started! Round 2 has been already feels too long 😔

I’ve had it twice for down reg. the first time my period was pretty on time. The second it was 5 days late. Hope the side effects aren’t too bad for you.

Thank you so much for writing to me. Can I ask when you mentioned 5 days late you mean it arrived 12 days after you stop Norethisterone? Did your cycle went ahead? Or you need to repeat downregulation?

I didn’t have norethisterone alongside down reg. I started buserelin both times on day 21 and was told to expect period as usual but it was on day 33 last time.

Hi there! Thank you for writing to me, good to know it has no side effects on some. It gives me hot flushes and headache also I feel really tired! Hope cycle was successful xx

Hi Mara. I took Norethisterone for 7 days & started Buserelin on the 3rd day of norethisterone and my period came 8 days after starting buserelin.

Hi! Thank you for writing to me, I’ve been on Norethisteron for 11 days and started Buserelin on day 21 of my cycle... so I guess everyone has a different schedule...
