anyone else on icsi cycle long protocol

Just seeing if anyone else has started a cycle recently . im doing a long protocol i have my first scan 6th feb my egg collection will be week commencing 20th feb. Im day 8 of buserelin and have period pains this evening feeling quite tired xx

hi, i'm on day 6 of buserlin today - hoping period comes soon so i can get the ball rolling!

surprisingly i've had very few side effects, but i'm putting that down to a hypnotherapy cd i've been listening to.

Hey I am on long protocol icsi our 2nd attempti.. I had a prostap injection on Friday there and go for a scan on 13th so just a bit behind you. I am just burning up that seems to be my side effects at the mo. Good luck and keep in touch x

this is my first round - i spent last year very depressed about our situation & was dreading treatment, but now it's here, i'm not so bad.

do you have any tips or advice?

forgot to mention my night sweats!! 😓

I know that feeling I just kept saying why are we here and crying at every appointment. Looking back I wish I knew more of what to expect. I wish I had read more so I was more prepared that may have helped me relax more who knows.ThIs forum was great too. Exercise, yoga and mindfulness helped me and this time around I am taking more time off my stressful job as I have to prioritise me as I know what my body and mind are about to go through. Take lots of care of you and keep in touch hoping it's first time lucky for you xxx

Hi. I'm ahead of youbut also on long protocol. I'm on day 21 of buserelin injections. Back tomorrow for my first scan. Hopefully I'm ready to start my merional injections wednesday and egg collection booked for the 13th. I'm on my 3rd cycle is this your first? Hope all goes well for you. If you need any advice just ask. Xx

This is my 2nd full cycle my first cycle was successful and have a little boy. we did a frozen cycle in nov last year with our last embryo but unfortunately that was unsuccessful so we decided to go for another full cycle xx
