So I have slightly elevated prolactin and tsh so taking bromocriptine and levothyroxine to rule it out more than anything. Probably caused by tumour and stress. My main problem has been recurrent miscarriage and 2 failed ICSI cycle/3 failed transfers.

The fertility clinic said to stop bromocriptine when I got a positive pregnancy test, but my GP says to stay on it until I see the midwife in a weeks time - does bromocriptine harm anything in early pregnancy??

Hi, I was wondering if anybody as experience of alternatives to Bromocriptine when trying to conceive or have found side effects decrease as you get used to the drug?

I take bromocriptine & levothyroxine too for prolactin & thyroid. Do you think this a proper positive??

I have recently started Bromocriptine for high prolactin levels. I have only taken for 3 weeks. My last few cycles have been getting longer (38, 39) and now at 43 days I am still waiting for my period. I have done 2 pregnancy tests which were negative. Does anyone else have experience of this?

Hi, Just wondering if anybody has experience of using Bromocriptine for high prolactin levels? I have just started taking the tablets and have experienced a few side effects (drowsiness/diziness and feeling sick). I'm hoping these will subside.

My prolactin has been reduced by being on bromocriptine however I have been doing ovulation tests and it never says I am ovulating. I am due to have “the teach” on the 23rd July where they go through everything and then I should start ivf(l (ICSI) a couple of weeks later.

I started the cycle of with clomid days 5-9 ,dectancyl and bromocriptine. First ultrasound After clomid no major response lots of follicles but all around 5mm, DR started me doing 150 menopur for 4 days.

I have suffered with Chronic fatigue for the last couple of years, and in 2018 was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor which I am on medication for (bromocriptine started 15/12/19).

I also have high prolactin levels, which I have been prescribed Bromocriptine to help reduce. Currently undergoing investigations and think next steps will be Fertility clinic.

Have been on bromocriptine for like two months and after my last period on 21 may, to 25th, I started taken vit. C & E with the above drugs. Also I notice the breast milk has reduced very well when I press my nipple.

kindly advise please i have had a serious issue of amenorria (absence of menstrual periods)for the past 5years now did a blood test i was advised that my prolactin level was too high and the doctor prescribed bromocriptine i have taken it for a month but i haven't seen my period up to now and i really
