Moving forward

So after my failed FET i felt miserable for a whole week. I have only one mosaic embryo left after 3 egg collections so I felt I was at the end of the road.

Yesterday I sat down with my husband and we decided to do one last egg collection starting next January. Im already excited and im doing my best to stay hopeful.

I have a meeting with my doctor to discuss any final tests we should do before proceeding. My last FET was transfered in a supposidley recetive uterus as per ERA test.

Any suggestions from you ladies who have had implantation failure and any ideas what I should be asking?

My toughts so far:

Hysteroscopy

Laparoscopy to check re my blocked tubes?

Any giod suggestions to improve egg quality?

If the next one does not work guess it would be time for us to go into embryo adoption route which we both are open for.

Hey lorita glad you are feeling a lot better and feeling hopeful. This journey is hard and we all need to pick ourselves and continue the fight.

The good thing is that you both agreed to something. Unity is important during this journey...

All the best

Hi Lorita, so glad you're feeling a bit better. I think when you know you're going again it makes you feel like you're working towards something positive again, and it's good for your mental health.

I cant really advise as I dont know what our outcome will be of our 2nd time as currently on meds, but I have done a lot of different things this time, all to try and help egg quality: diet; I've cut out all sugar to help with insulin levels, cut carbs out and when you have carbs eat wholegrains. Lots of veg, and oily fish. Supplements; coq10, going bpa free, and acupuncture.

The lady I see for acupuncture is so positive about it and ivf, it's meant to really help with your lining and increases blood flow which can help egg quality.

The main thing for me was trying to do all I can so mentally I feel like I'm trying to improve rounds, even though I know it's all down to luck.

I would really recommend it starts with the egg book 👍

Enjoy a nice relax over the xmas period and good luck for January xx
