Nerves kicking in, and a few questions!?!

Hi everyone,

We are now onto our 11th day of Gonal f (started on 115 and increased to 300IU). We had our 4th scan today. Our 3rd scan made us extremely nervous as they measured 8 follicles above 10mm - we need a minimum of 8 in order to egg share - so left the appointment disappointed as we had expected a better response. The not knowing and waiting really is the worst isn't it!?! The nurse had explained that the one other maybe in the running at this point, which freaked me out a bit.

Anyway, the weekend passed, slowly, and our appointment was a little more positive today - (we think). There are 10 follicles between 18mm - 10mm (and a few just under) and my lining is at 11.8. The Dr has said I am not ready for egg collection yet. Is it usual for people to be stimming for over 11 days? I am set to be stimming for at least another 2 days before another scan. Can your lining get too thick?

Constant pep talks - what will be will be - this is not in our control but either are our nerves at the moment!

On a good note - I haven't had any side effects from the Gonal f or Cetrotide - yet. Maybe a slight loss in appetite.

Will look forward to hearing from anyone going/already gone through more stimming days than expected.
