What level should progesterone be before & after FET?? Were you tested before & after FET?

I've got low progesterone normally. To get just 54 with blood test i need to take 2 x 400 Cyclogest Pessaries daily.

My Dr is only prescribing me 1 x 400 cyclogest each evening from ovulation to FET and I'm worried it won't be enough.

Did anyone have their progesterone blood levels tested the day before transfer?

Day after transfer I'll be adding 25 Lubion injections in the morning and 1 x cyclogest pessarie in the evening.

Did anyone have their progesterone levels checked after FET? If so, when and what were your levels?

Thanks

Hi, I'm not 100% sure what the levels are meant to be plus I was down regulated with cetrotide for my FEt so not sure if that makes a difference. I was on lubion 25mg daily and cyclogest 400mg twice a day. They checked my levels the day before transfer and said they were a little low so increased my cyclogest to three times a day. On the day of transfer I asked if I could have my levels repeated so they did them again 5 days later and told me they were fine. They then checked again 9dp5dt when they did my hcg and said they were around 80 and wanted to make my lubion twice a day. No idea what level they are actually aiming for but then when I had my bleed recently one dr wanted to recheck my levels incase they were low but my consultant said no as my levels were already high! Seems like lots of clinical have such different protocols when it comes to FETs and progesterone! Hope all goes smoothly for you. xx

Thanks that's very helpful. I have read that they like progesterone to be 80/100 minimum. I've asked that I can be on Lubion and 2 x 400 cyclogest per day so hopefully I'm covered. My consultant said he'd only test my bloods the day of transfer which feels like it's cutting it fine but I have to learn to relinquish some control and trust them...ok also have them tested again 7 days and 12 days post 5 day transfer...

Glad everything is going well for you xx

I think that sounds like a good plan and I'm sure you'll be fine with both lubion and cyclogest and if they check your levels on transfer day you can still get the dose increased pretty quickly if you need to. The rechecks of your levels are also reassuring. I think you definitely have to put your trust in your clinic, I learnt that after going through my first cycle. It definitely made a difference for me on my FET xx
