SPOTS ON FACE

I have never had spots or acne whole of my life, but strangely have some appearing since started prostap & estradiol pills

Anyone else experience this & when stopped?

Yes, I’ve had this and took it as a sign the drugs were working.

It’s your hormones. It will pass when your hormones become more balanced. It’s frustrating but try to ride it out. Try to reduce your sugar intake as that will help. xxx

Thanks MrsC I guess you mean once embryo transferred & stop inject all these drugs.. x

Once an embryo is transferred you will need to continue progesterone and possibly oestrogen to support the embryo. If you get a positive you'll continue to take these until your clinic tapers them off around the end of the first trimester. I've had some little bumps on my cheeks from these hormones, though they're not really what I'd call full acne, and they're easily covered by a little makeup if I want to. I do think it is fairly common to have some skin changes when taking hormones, hopefully it won't be too bad for you xx

Thanks & Exactly what I have too little tiny bumps on face, so annoying use clearasil to wash face morning & evening. X

I had constant spots around my chin while on the progesterone. Seems to have stopped now I’ve finished taking it... Progesterone has always done this to my skin, I remember having to switch around pills when younger to find a low progesterone pill as my skin was so bad!

Thanks Bridget, I be never had spots in my life never had teenager spots now when have these tiny ones so annoying to have at 40 s & affects confidence .. 🤣 x
