Do any of you usually get together and talk face to face?

I’m just wondering if there are any groups that were created via this website, so that women can talk to each other about our fertility issues?

Sure, I think there are local communities that schedule regular meetings. I found that on the website. Here in my region there are groups in every city and we meet on a monthly basis. It maybe depends on where you are.

I've started going to a support group and they are held monthly in my area. I would recommend it xx

Good morning all, I've wondered about that too, whether there's meetings face to face since no one else can understand what we've been through with fertility issues. Not sure where on the website to find that tho :/ XX

I guess it makes it easier to talk to people that are going through the exact same thing and feel the same. Doctors will never understand unless they feel the same. I’m in London and surely there will be support groups around me.

I’ve never been to a face to face and haven’t really looked for one to be honest. I’m in London too (south west) so let me know if you find any...although you may be nowhere near me!

Am hoping my FET brings me a BFP but otherwise I think it’s something I’d really consider doing xxxxx

Sorry to jump in, I know the London Womens Clinic in Harley street runs a support group once a month for anyone not just their patients. I’ve considered it but have always been a little scared of actually going!!🤦🏼‍♀️xx

Ahh cool, I might look into that!! Thanks. Although going to be positive about my FET first! Eeek!

I think I’d also be a bit nervous though but once you go once, I’m sure it’d be ok xxx

I'm sure you'll be successful Caza! :) Let me know if you go to any group ladies, and I might come along.

It seems that you're already in clinics and starting treatment. I'm still going for a second opinion but it's only in November and I'm finding it hard to cope with the waiting times and getting old...
