IVF fet with decapeptyl injection. Anyone had the experience?

Hello lovely ladies,

I will be doing another fet soon and the doctor suggested a new protocol, I will take an injection of decapeptyl on the 2 day of the cycle and then after 20 days start progynova for two weeks, then 5 days of progesterone and then transfer. Any of you followed the same protocol? Just wondering why she decided to add an injection, seams like a waste of 20 days to me.

Any imput will be great xx

I did this protocol but can’t remember what the reason for it was as it was a while ago but it made sense when they explained it. Hopefully someone else will know why xx

Hi I have done this protocol which was something to do with my bodies reaction to busereline. I would favour this over daily injections 😊. Best of luck xx
