Sad news 😥

Yesterday I was 11+1 and started spotting. Went to hospital today they said they can do a scan but because it's the weekend and this is little old New Zealand there was no sonographer there who specialize is in ultrasounds so they may or may not be able to see baby and heartbeat and no vaginal ultrasounds...they couldn't see anything. I've started bleeding a bit more now and cramps started. Doctor called with my hcg results and they are only 960 😥 last hcg I had was 7200 weeks ago. So I've had a missed miscarriage so it's all over 😭 Just waiting for it to start. I'm so scared. I'm only to go back to the hospital if I cannot manage pain with normal painkillers. I'm terrified of what's to come 😥 if someone has been through this can you please DM me? as I dont know what to expect I'm terrified. We got so far but I knew it was too good to be true. I just knew something was wrong when my nausea disappeared at 8/9 weeks. We have 1 more frozen embryo but I really dont think I can go through this again the anxiety I've had has been crippling. Thanks to everyone for all your support. I dont think its sunk in yet what is happening 😭😥💔

When I had the anembryonic last year I had reached over 30,000 hcg (not sure if the number relates to anything). I had to take some pills to bring on the miscarriage although I had been spotting for weeks by that point. It was like a very bad period with clots but it was manageable with normal painkillers.

I'm so so sorry for your loss, this is so sad 😞 I miscarried but was only 6 weeks along so I'm sure my experience was different to what will happen for you. I think the worst bit is not knowing what will happen during the process. For me it was like a really heavy and painful period with lots of large clots and tissue being passed (I'm so sorry I know that's really upsetting) and that was definitely the worst part emotionally. It's a tough process for your mental health, surround yourselves with loved ones and be kind to yourself. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Bless u. So sorry to hear this. Big big hugs for u. It is so horrid and scary. Went through this very recently. Everyone’s experience is diff but always suggest having ppl close by. Hospital hopefully can get u strong painkillers though for me this was on and off. Hard to know what else to suggest as it not nice at all. Be gentle to you Hun and hope got good support around u. Hello Niki b really feeling sorry for what u have gone through...but jst wanted to ask did try iui?? Cause as our tubes are long may be iui is a procedure in which it helps the speed half a way through..so did u try dat??

No iui still wouldnt work. The fertilized egg would still need to travel down the tubes to get to the womb. IVF they put the embryo straight in your womb.

It's not worth trying if it's almost impossible it would work. Its the same as having regular intercourse. But all the best for you xx

Sorry hun. It's so hard and I feel for you. I'm going through the same thing and it's just a heavy heavy period. You will be fine as our bodies are built to manage this. I am thinking of you and feel exactly the same about not wanting to go through it all again. Take some time after this episode and enjoy things before making a decision about what to do next as you might feel differently. It's so unfair that we have to go through this and the anxiety and rollacoaster of emotions is exhausting. I feel your pain. Sending you lots of hugs x

Thanks hun. And I'm so sorry you are going through this 💔 it's so not fair and so cruel. Unfortunately mine was not just a heavy period I was in hospital for 2 days and passing clots the size of my fist..lots of them. It was horrendous 😓 I'm so sorry for your loss and thank you for your kind words it means alot. Sending big hugs back 😓💗💕
