Just a quick question are you meant to store the cetrotide injections in the fridge or are they ok being left out at room temp? I was under the impression they didn’t need to but I’ve just seen on the box about refrigeration and now I’m a little worried

They should be refrigerated, but I wouldn't panic - I had to pick an extra one up from the clinic towards the end of stims and that definitely hadn't been in the fridge, it was quite warm. Pop them in now and I'm sure it'll be fine, perhaps call the clinic in the morning to double check in case they want to give you some fresh ones.
Thanks ladies - when we picked ours up they hadn’t been refrigerated I’ve put them in the fridge now and will phone tomorrow morning ... thought this was going too smoothly haha Xx
Hi there, as it isn’t hot outside, you should be fine!
For my first round of IVF, I didn’t have to store them in the fridge, but for my latest second round I did. I was advised that they had been made aware of cases where the meds hadn’t worked due to our hot summer last year 💕 xx
I had this same conversation with a nurse yesterday because for my 1st round of ivf it didn’t need to go in the fridge but now it does. The nurse said that best keep it in the fridge to be on the safe side but that it should work just fine as long as it doesn’t get above 25C so not to worry too much. All the best for your cycle!
