Just done my first one of these tonight,

Is it normal for it to bleed once I've removed the injection?

Say I'm the instructions it only says what to do if it bleeds during the injection,

Xx

Hi Hun, yeh I bleed sometimes when doing it. Just rub the area a little . I remember when I did my first injection of this and I stuck the needle through my hand up to my finger as the lid was so hard to remove lol. I was crying my eyes out lol. Had to set up another injection with blood everywhere and my hand was so bad . Blood was everywhere, I was still crying and still trying to injection my self lol the pressure was on then lol. My hand was swollen and bruised after. Be careful with them stupid lids 😘😘😘

Thanks for your reply,

that happen to me with the menopur on Tuesday had a right melt down, the cap wouldn't come off then plunger come lose and lost solution and then got the cap off eventually and stabbed my little finger god did it bleed.

It's not easy this mixing of meds at all is it,

Then the cetrotide set it all up (bit straight forward either)put it in then when removed the injection blood come out was like argh what's happening, applied pressure think it may bruise, it's quite red rash still I did it at 10 tonight xx

I got a red rash after and felt itchy. I'm sure it will be fine I think I bruised after it also. After doing that first injection and hurting my self I was so scared every time after . And still couldn't get cap off lol. Things we do πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Hope everything goes well for u Hun 😘😘😘

Hi Leesalou, I did my first Cetrotide shot yesterday, and the same thing happened to me. It didn't bleed this evening though. I think it may be due to having air in the plunger yesterday. My husband prepared my injection for me tonight, and got all the air out. Also, don't worry about the rash...it won't be there in the morning 😊 X x
