Hey Ladies

Happy International Womans Day ❤️

Had my first stimulated iui treatment on Thursday. Been feeling fine but today (day 5 after iu) I've had cramps like my period is going to start. Was just wondering if anyone else had felt this after iui.

Any help is welcome 🥰

Hey hun. I wonder read too much into symptoms. I've had a positive tests with and without symptoms. It doesn't necessarily mean your period is on its way. I've only had IVF (ICSI) so I'm not sure of the process of IUI. Good luck and hope you get your BFP! Xxx

Hiii,

Nice to see someone else going through IUI. We ( my partner and I) had a medicated IUI in Jan. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful and the symptoms are all over the place so I would try your best to just wait till nearer the end of the 2ww, easier said than done I know. My partner came on her period at day 14 following the treatment which is why we knew it had failed.

Also, not sure if you've had the trigger shot but that gave her loads of false symptoms too.

We are hoping going through another round end of this week all being well 🙏.

I'm sorry to hear your first one failed 😔 It's such a tough time for all of us going through fertility. Yea I had the booster injection (is that what u mean by trigger shot?)

Aww I will have my fingers crossed for you guys. I was a little uncomfortable for a day or 2 after iui then around day 5 - 8 I had cramp but the last 2 days I have been feeling great. Xx

Oh thats great news, fingers crossed to you too.!!! So far my partner is feeling good too, last time she contracted at UTI day 2 so we feel this had a significant affect on the last cycle. X

Hi,

I had two medicated IUIs in August and October, both unfortunately unsuccessful and with all kinds of symptoms. My period arrived after 20 days. This said, wait and see what happens. It is hard, I know, but you might experience cramps because of the injections, or due to implantation. A huge hug! Xx

Thank you so much! Now I am waiting for my next period to start my first IVF🙏🙏🙏 After a medicated cycle it is better to wait and do not overstimulate your ovaries. It is so stressful for our bodies and we need to give them time to recover. Hugs!!! Xx

I’ve had 3 IUI’s. 2 failed and 1 ended in Ectopic and none of them were similar at all. It’s important to remember that everyone’s bodies are different and reading too much into the symptoms can sometimes make you feel like yours isn’t going right. Early signs of pregnancy are almost exactly like period symptoms so don’t expect too much. Try and relax. Sending you all of the luck in the world xxx
