IUI treatment

Hey all, we await appointment to start first IUI treatment but I can't help be scared, I'm late on my cycle where it usually arrives day 27 I'm in day 40 now no pains or cramping or pains at all apart from like stomach kinda stretched skin it feels like but my partner thinks I cud be preggo but I can't help but think diffo I don't wanna look stupid going but test if not can't bear disappointment of it again any advice ladies what to expect from IUI AND ANY SUCCESS RATES PLZ???

You could definitely do a pregnancy test if you are 13 days late already. That should sort out your worries. IUI success rates can be anywhere from 7-30% dependent on your age, sperm quality and other factors, but they will be able to give you an estimate once you are having the initial appointment.

They insert the sperm into the cervix it’s just like a smear test but pass the sperm through a catheter it literally takes about ten minutes gives the sperm more of a chance in meeting an embryo xx

I am ovulating but egg quality is diminishing. I have pcos. What will they do for me

I’m not sure but they do suggest it first for women with PCOS you will have to ask darling xx
