IUI enquiry

Hi folks yesterday I had my consultation and the consultant has said our way forward is IUI I just wondered if anyone was successful with iui first time round and if anyone struggled with the injections or is it pretty straight forward and any side affects ? I’m worried I’m gonna be a walking hormone and I don’t want to tell work just yet until we start our journey .I mean who tells there boss there trying to conceive 🤔 anyways any information I’d really appreciate my uterus and ovaries are healthy also so does this increase my chances I’m a little naive to all the procedure it’s all very new thanks again ladies and gents x

Hello! We had 3 goes at IUI before IVF as it’s a lot less invasive. Unfortunately we weren’t successful with it but i have a close friend who it worked for so it’s definitely worth a try! I dont remember having many side effects or anything xx

Unfortunately our weren’t successful with ours but it gives the docs a clue to how you'll react or how often to monitor you in ivf if iui doesn't work out for you. I didn't have any affects x

Hello, our second attempt just failed but agree with the others little side affects I only had one injection was fine. It’s not invasive and actually all ok

I’ve presviously had had successful from IUI but miscarriage. I have read if loads of success stories. The meds and injections are least invasive. Wishing you the best x
