Managing pain

Hello lovely people, this post is not necessarily ivf based, but need some advice. I have just started the stimulation injections this week and have my first scan to check in how my eggs are maturing next week. However, I have been diagnosed with a prolapsed disc and nerve impingement, due to the disc and a deep lordosis, causing excruciating sciatic pain. I’m on a waiting list for surgery and they gave me an epidural injection for the pain whilst I go through the fertility process, but that’s wearing off as there has been so many delays getting to this point.

What can I do to help with the pain? Any ideas would be welcome at this point xxx

Hi, I am sorry I don't know how to respond as not got this. I would ask my doctor and clinic for their advice, whilst booking in for acupuncture. I really hope your pain subsides soon x

Would they give you another injection to tide you over? Perhaps you could try an alternative therapy, if that’s ok with your clinic or gp xx
