Struggling

Hi everyone I’m new to this and as supportive as hubby is I feel I need to talk to women who have been through it all. We have had 5 cycles of IVF and were delighted after our 5th - FET At day 3 - we got a positive test. We have just come back from our 6 week scan and were told ‘she couldn’t see what she would expect’. They have done a blood test to check my levels but I am really struggling to stay positive.

I’m sorry the scan wasn’t as positive as you had hoped but hopefully the blood test will give you some answers. When will you get those back? Xx

Thank you for your reply. It’s good to know you aren’t alone! The results should be back Monday. I thought yes we’ve finally done it only to be knocked back down again. Just not sure how much more I can take xx

I’ve got my 6 week scan on Wednesday and I’m petrified, so I can imagine what you are going through. Fingers crossed Monday brings you some good news. Have a chilled weekend and do something nice for yourself! ❤️😘 xx

Awww Im really sorry to hear that, it must be so hard! I cant give much advice as Ive never been in your position but I do know a 6 week scan is super early to see much at that stage, have they offered to rescan you? I really hope you get some good news back about your bloods soon! Big hugs.xx

Yeah I think they are going to wait on the results of the bloods to check my levels. If they are high still they’ll rescan. I think I’ve had all the positively knocked out of me. Xxx

I'm glad hubby is supportive that's a big help but I totally understand what you mean about reaching out to those who have been through it personally. It's so so hard but you will find lots of supportive ladies here with wealth of experience .

Hiya, welcome to the site. You will get lots of great support on here. Hopefully your hcg will give you a positivite result. Did they actually tell you what they could see on the scan? Xx

Oh god no wonder you’re worried, and after 5 goes the positivity is hard to muster sometimes 😞 6 weeks is super early so fingers crossed all will be well with the levels, but why on Earth is it taking until Monday?! Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Hi my friend has just been through the same last week couldn’t see a baby no heartbeat today she had another scan and was fine measuring 7w3d she thought she was 9w. Fingers crossed for you it’s just too early xx
