Just found out we have three ‘top quality’ blastocysts to be frozen on day 5 and potentially more tomorrow. Which feels low given 11 eggs fertilized (out of 16 Mature) but it still feels like a positive step.
I’m a bit confused about if this means that all three will be thawed for the transfer, and they pick the best one. Or they just pick one and hope it thaws ok?
We were hoping that this batch would give us more than one FET, but not sure how it works.
What have others experienced? Thank you!

Hi they just take the one out and see how that one gets on and if it good they just use that one if it isn’t they will get another one and see how that one goes xx
Depends how many you want to transfer but they thaw one at a time and the rest are left for future use. If the chosen one doesn’t survive the thaw they’ll try another one x
Oh dear! Stay strong! Wishing you all the best for your transfer! I'm also having mine in July at a center in Kiev. So, yeah! I know how it's played...Let's hope it works for both of us. xx Baby dust!
