Transfer done! 2 embryos on board, 3 to freeze, possibly a 4th - over the moon!

It’s our 3rd cycle, 5th transfer, first time putting 2 back in. We only had one usable embryo on round one and three on second round so we are chuffed to bits to have got 5 out of this round! Will find out tomorrow if the 6th is freezable or not. We had 2 top quality and 3 really good so we put in a top with a good. Just hope that one or both stick this time! It would be the most amazing Xmas present ever to get a positive test result. Anyone else now on the 2ww? This is going to be the toughest bit, worse than any physical pain x

Ooh I just pee on a stick that the clinic gave me at home. I always test early though on day 9 or 10 using first response, I just can’t agonise for the full time! I’ll prob test on same day as you! X

I can understand why but I found it doubly hard to test beforehand and get a negative and then have the blood test to confirm it so I've decided this time not to do it to myself again and I will just have to wait. Here is hoping we both get that BFP 🤞🤞🤞🤞 xx

No the tough bit is over this is the exciting bit girl!!’ You get to relax and envision yourself with one (or two 😳) babies on board!! Enjoy it, help your body do it’s job by thinking positively. We are just waiting for our date to start stims next year, In the meantime I’m ovulating at the moment so getting down to it & would know the result by xmas day so very exciting!!!

Hi Scarlett, where did you get the melatonin please? And the DHEA? And the metformin? And can you reccommend the brand of Ubiquinol you had? Sorry for all the questions! I read that book too, great book, but I struggled to find the recommended things and wasn't really sure what I was looking for, so any help you can offer would be great.

The metformin was prescribed by my clinic. The melatonin I got from pipingrock.com, capsules are 3mg each. My friend gave me her leftover coQ10, so not sure where it’s from, but the brand is pureclinica. The DHEA is by eurovital - I got it from a health website but can’t remember which one? I also took folate by solgar but again I’m sorry can’t remember what website. I just googled everything and guessed really?! All the best for your journey xxx

That's so kind of you to ask; my mother in law is doing ok thanks. She's ok got her sixth and final (we hope) chemo just before Christmas. Next year will she'll have scans every three months which will be nerve wracking, but in between times we're hoping to get back some normality.

We decided just to go for the IVF. Got 8 eggs, 7 fertilized. By day three we were down to 2 good quality and 2 borderline. They suggested waiting until day 5 so they could try to identify the strongest one, so we ended up with a 4AB blastocyst transferred and a 5BB frozen. Unfortunately got BFN four days ago. So disappointed. Just hanging on now until we can start the process for our frozen transfer in January. Hopefully the new year will bring positive things for us all!

I’m glad you decided to go for it with the ivf, so sorry you got a BFN but don’t worry, hardly anyone gets s BFP straight away. I’ve endured 4 BFNs over 2 cycles now - it’s just the pits, especially when you have good numbers and fertilisation rates like yourself. But keep going keep going keep going!! Fingers crossed for your next snowflake xxx

Thank you. That’s so kind of you. I’ve just seen your post from 6 days ago, I seriously hope you get your baby naturally or are somehow able to have IVF again. Have you looked into abc fertility in London? More natural and way cheaper, although I don’t know where you live xxx
