Ouch!

I had a laparoscopy and they only did very minor ablation of some endometrial patches and it took me a good ten days to be up and about again. Don’t expect too much of yourself.

I had my right tube taken out in December and was off work for nearly 4 weeks. Take things easy and try speak to the dr for stronger medication if u feel what u have isn’t enough.

Good luck and speedy recovery xx

Thank u hun the meds are good but I can't tell what the stretch pains are it's like my skins been stretched and pins in and out it hard explain the paper stitches are starting to untie them self's slowly, I'm having bleeding also but not enough to call it a period then had bath earlier and I got a gush was like a brown slight pinky colour is this normal after opp

Yeah I know what u mean with the stretching I had that, I don’t know what it is or what causes it but I did experience it for a few weeks. I thought it was maybe the muscles retracting back into shape 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also bled for over a week but again not enough to say it was a period and it was a much darker red(nearly brown). It all sounds normal to me but contact ur gp if u are unsure xx

Phew so nothing to worry bout yet then bleeding is stopped now but I'm alot more crampy not sure if it's part of the opp pain or not meds helps the worse parts I'll soldier on till Tuesday at least see if recovery results improve or not, have u succeed in pregnancy since having ur tube removed in December hun x

Honestly I was not myself for a good couple of weeks but tried to just do what my body felt fine with.

I am in the last stages of my first ivf process just now, I had egg collection on Friday and will be going for transfer either tomorrow or Wednesday so will find out soon enough xx

Hi!

I had my left tube clipped at the beginning of April along with an ablation and polyp removal. I felt pain for the first few days but it soon eased off. I feel really lucky as I was back at the gym after 2 weeks but everyone recovers differently. I still get the pulling feeling when I first get up after being lay or sat for a while. I think it's your tissue and muscle repairing itself. I also had brown blood for the first week. The consultant also told me my period maybe off kilter and sure enough I came on about 5 days early! If you're still needing pain relief after 2 weeks I would contact the consultant. Hope you feel better soon- enjoy the rest!x
