Progynova or Estradiol - when to stop?

I am 8 weeks and 3 days and was still taking 2mg progynova 3 times a day although I was asked to stop these at 6 weeks scan (upon seeing the heartbeat) I was too scared to stop and carried on as I read mixed reviews online (I have extras packets of these)

My clinic this morning realized I am still taking these and have asked me to stop this with immediate effect.

What do I do ladies? I k ow I should listen to my clinic at all costs, but I am so scared. When did you guys stop? Bearing in mind I am menaupausal should I stop these now at 8 weeks or shall I continue until 12 weeks?

I took progynova until 12 weeks. I think that is the rules with my clinic along with cyclogest. I guess it’s down to individual circumstances x

Hi Rubinaa. I’m sure your clinic will have given you good advice. I realise how anxious you feel, so why not do it slowly. Take 2 a day for a week, then 1 a day for a week, then twice a week for the last time. Perhaps you will feel better doing that way?? Good luck with whatever you decide. Diane
