Hot flushes after stopping progynova

Hi there ladies! Has anyone else experienced really strong hot flushes, particularly at night, after stopping progynova (oestrogen)? I'm feeling feverish a lot and my sleep is a mess. These are worse than any I was getting before. I realise not all of you will have to take oestrogen during your ivf so won't have experienced the delights of hot flushes yet. Xxx

Hiya! I took progynova after and I felt horrible whilst on it! As well as utrogestan.

Afterwards however I may have felt a few side effects but not for long. I'm prone to hot flushes anyway lol.

However - something has def changed in my hormones! I don't know whether it's the relief Of IVF being over and no scheduled sex but my libido has tripled! Like worryingly so lol...... Although to be fair I'm not worrying all that much for now!

I finally feel like me again!

I was actually better when on it - no flushes at all. Not noticed a massive change in my libido but is nice not to be only having sex because we're trying to conceive - now I've been told my eggs are so rubbish, it's purely for fun! Xx

I definitely had hot flushes and night sweats after I came off progynova for both of my rounds. I would wake up saturated !! It did pass after about a week X

Yes that's what I'm like. It's been more than a week but I'm hoping it'll stop soon, though I may be back on it shortly afterwards when we go for a FET. It's been better during the day at least xx
