I have had 3 failed ivf cycles and 1 failed fet on Feb. Just about to embark on 4th cycle in a few days. Dr suggested donor eggs but wanted to persevere with my own eggs for now
Anyone else in the same boat?
Would be great to hear from anyone else on their 4th cycle... 😀

My 3rd cycle failed in Feb. So we are due on our 4th. But got to wait 3 months now after husbands sperm showing high levels of oxidized stress. So he's now in proceed. We now have to wait see what he tests after 3 months I will be 43 then. Dr has also suggested donor eggs.
I’ve had 2 egg collections, 2 failed fresh transfers (both chemical pregnancies) and 1 failed FET (another chemical pregnancy). Gearing up for transfer #4 in April and, if that fails, will move forward for a third egg collection in the summer. This definitely hasn’t turned out to be the journey I imagined it would be! 🤯 Some of us have to fight a bit harder to get to that lucky embryo.
Wishing you all the very best - you’ve got this! 💪🏽💪🏽 Xxxx
Hey, I’m the same. I just 37 and last year had my third failed cycle, my clinic have said it’s not impossible but if I wanted a drastic change then we should think about donor eggs. But I’m here again day three of stims hoping this time will be different 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Best of luck to you. I’m on my 4th embryo transfer - second round (if a round is one lot of egg collection) and had a number of IUI attempts previously. Have had three miscarriages and lots of tests after the third. Nothing wrong found but I’m 42. Let us know how it all goes for you x
It’s such a rollercoaster of a journey. Over 40s have it more difficult due to age and egg quality but it’s good to know there are ladies like us still on this journey together. Take care and will update you x
I am here too! Turning 44 in April, 3 ivf failed ivf (2 bfp and 1 cancelled). We've booked a consultation with another clinic to start the 4th cycle with my own eggs. Donor egg is out of question for us coz hubby doesn't want to.
Hi there I’m in similar boat too! I’m 38 and had 2 failed ivf one bfn and last one no eggs fertilised.. so clinic said they think poor egg quality although first round had top quality day 3 embryo. Hence was told to consider Donor egg... But having a few months break then going to try another clinic.. wishing you all the best good luck 🤞 xxx
