My partner is wondering what was the pain like for your partner during their sperm retrieval operation? Also how long did they take to they got back to work and stuff?

Are you talking about the PESA? My partner took the day off, had some bruising and said he didn't have much pain. Good luck

O no hes going for a 3hr op to c if they can get any sperm cause he has zero sperm count. But thank u

Hi Lisa, my DH had TESE last May. They had to do this in both testicles (ouch) but got lots of sperm, about 11 straws which we froze for use with ICSI.

As this was bilateral with incisions in both testicles he was off for 2 weeks, he got a slight infection which was nothing to worry about after he got the correct antibiotics 😃 hope this helps and good luck for the op xx
